 History Of Design : SPECTACLES Glasses are such an everyday part of our life that sometimes we forgot about how it came to its existence and how it became so obvious to people. Glasses are a tool that provides vision to most people, regardless of prescription or eye shape. The development of glasses are as common as treatment for imperfect eyesight took centuries, with many brilliant innovators paving path to the perfect vision we get today.  The first inventor of wearable glasses is unknown. However, the romans first discovered the ability to see small text, creating small magnifying glasses with spheres. Around 1000AD, the first vision aid was invented called a reading stone.   DAILY OBJECT - WATER BOTTLE Since my childhood, I have been strictly advised to keep myself hydrated as we all should and because I tend to forget drinking enough water. I have this particular sipper of mine that I cannot go anywhere without. Hence I decided to choose a water bottle as my daily object and to check on the history of various design of it and how it has evolved. History of design Topic: Origin and development of clock “Research in history involves developing an understanding of the past through the examination and interpretation of evidence.”  A clock is a device used to measure and show time. It is one of the man’s earliest inventions. It has evolved a lot over the millennia.  Before 1500 A.C The  moon was the first instrument used to measure time. The time elapsing between successive new moons(or other phases of moon) was known as lunation. In a year there are a total of 12 lunations. So therefore it was used by primitive people to make calendrical year. Along with the moon, the sun was also a source of measuring time.
